Samantha Bergman (Artistic Director)
Samantha Bergman is a dancer/choreographer based out of Brooklyn, NY. She strives to explore the art of storytelling using the entire body as an instrument. Her work combines elements of athletic movement, gesture, and expression in order to cultivate dynamic relationships between beings. Previous works include: Muliebris, 2015 (choreographer/dancer), xyz: chain creation cycle, 2014, (collaborator/dancer), what is it, then, between us?, 2013 (choreographer/dancer), and Retorno, 2011 & 2013, (choreographer/dancer).
Holly Heidt (Artistic Director)
Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, Holly studied dance and literature at Oberlin College. She dances for Vashti Dance Theater and has also recently worked with choreographers Whitney Janis, Stephanie Deere, Jeff Davis, Eva Dean, and Caroline Brethenoux. Her choreography has headlined at Spectrum, The Tank, and Trans Pecos, with additional performances at Dixon Place, The Living Gallery, Roseland Ballroom, The Invisible Dog, Team Gallery, and Spoke the Hub.
Alexandra Carter
Alexandra “Allie” Carter began training and performing at the age of three (although she danced all night at an Aerosmith concert whilst her mother was still carrying her). She attended Mason Gross School of the Arts before completing her BA Honors in Dance Performance and Choreography at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, UK. Allie has had the honor of training with choreographers Dana Foglia and Tarek Khwiss, performing with international artist Qinmin Liu, and dancing with Muliebris Dance Theatre. Now based in Brooklyn, her current creative interests involve investigating the heart’s connection throughout work, relaxation, and creation.
Taylor Goska
Taylor began her dance training in Baltimore at Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts. In 2015 Taylor graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance and psychology. During her time at Point Park, she performed as part of the Conservatory Dance Company in Pittsburgh. Taylor has performed professionally with Deep Vision Dance Company and The Collective. She has also performed internationally in Rome, Italy with VIVO Ballet at the Teatro Golden. Taylor is now based in NYC and has been dancing with Muliebris since 2016.
